I’m Justin, the founder of PACC Armor.
I began my working life as a fabricator in my grandfather’s metal shop. That’s where I learned real craftsmanship, problem-solving, and the satisfaction of building something with my own hands. It’s also where I learned I wanted to run my own business.
I went on to spend 20 years in construction and built a successful company, until the economy took a sharp downturn and I had to pivot.
I’ve always been interested in armored protection and concealed carry. What I couldn’t find was a solution that combined the two without forcing me into a bulky, obvious vest.
So I built it myself. That’s how PACC Armor started, with two armored concealed carry bags: the PACC and the Mini PACC.
I knew we could do more.
I’m a bigger guy, and traditional concealed carry has never been comfortable for me. Holsters dig, print, or feel like a constant reminder that you’re carrying.
One night in the summer of 2025, I woke up at 4AM from a dream where I was wearing shorts with built-in holster pockets. I barely knew I was carrying.
I jumped out of bed (my wife thought I’d lost it), grabbed my favorite pair of shorts, and headed to the garage. Using my mom’s old sewing machine and the same Cordura we use on our bags, I built the first prototype holster pocket that night.
The real test came a few days later. I put my Glock 19 in the pocket and went shopping at Jo-Ann Fabrics. It wasn’t until I was standing at the checkout that I remembered I was carrying. That’s when I knew we had something special.
